This is Oso and his his owner Gabriel. Back in Aug

This is Oso and his his owner Gabriel. Back in August Oso was struck by a car, the same car also hit his owners vehicle before fleeing the scene. Oso needed an FHO surgery which is a removal of the femoral head due to injury. His owner had lost her job due to covid shutdown and was concerned she would be forced to relinquish Oso so he could get the care he needed. Our friends at @therescuetrain reached out to us to help fund the surgery. With funds from both organizations and discounted surgery from a wonderful hospital Oso was able to get surgery and stay in the loving arms of Gabriel.

Last year Ruby the macaw had a pretty bad health scare. She was lethargic and unwilling to eat. Her family was very concerned as they love her so much, unfortunately the cost of her care was high and they were unsure if they could give her the support she needed. This kind of support is exactly what our LAP help program provides. We were able to get Ruby labwork run and provide funds for her multiple day hospitalization. She has made a full recovery and back cheering on her family at soccer games.

Blacky is one of our LAP Help beneficiaries. Her mother reached out to our organization in May last year having been laid off due to Covid-19 she needed help. Blacky had fallen ill she wouldn't eat or drink and was so lethargic she could barely move. Little Angels helped pay for her emergency care which determined she had diabetes and was in the middle of a diabetic crisis. With the help of our LAP Help program she was able to get the care she needed and get started on daily insulin to manage her condition.
