Little Angels is happy to announce that we have been selected as a recipient of the Buffalo Exchange Tokens for Bags® program from January through June 2023. You can now donate to Little Angels just by shopping at Buffalo Exchange Santa Monica. Instead of a plastic bag, the Tokens for Bags® program offers every customer who makes a purchase one “token” valued at five cents (the cost to produce a bag) to donate to one of several local charities selected by the store. The program has generated over $893,860 for hundreds of local nonprofit organizations since 1994 and has saved over 17.87 million plastic bags from the landfill.⁠

I would like to formally Introduce myself, some of you may know me and some may not but, my name is Rosario Moyeda

My best friend name is Wrinkles, my 1 year old french bulldog. My poor baby was maliciously beaten to the verge of death on Dec 22,2022 by my evil neighbor. This all happened around 5pm, he purposely beat my dog multiple times with a huge metal/wooden object to a point where she was unable to move, unable to get up from the ground, seizing, and bleeding uncontrollably. He left my baby on the ground practically dead, and his excuse was he was “terrified”. My dog is a sweetheart, she has never acted aggressive towards anyone. My dog is known for being loving and sweet. She loves cuddles,kisses and just loves giving out love. She is well admired by my family and friends. She is also well loved by all my vet staff at my work.

She was rushed to the er and was put into a critical condition unit at a nearby er with 24/7 vet support and an oxygen chamber. She has suffered from swelling, seizures, blood loss from her hose and mouth. She is unable to use one side of her body. She is struggling to breathe and needs oxygen support. Further labs and reports are being done, unfortunately she is not strong enough to finish most tests, so we are hoping as soon as she gets more strength we can finish with her diagnostic. The emergency staff all commented on how sweet and helpful wrinkles has been during this whole time given the pain that she is in.

Unfortunately we did notice ocular and nasal discharge post surgery and had to do a culture and do a strong, lengthy antibiotic. After a few weeks of antibiotics he is his happy self again. I will forever be grateful to you and your organization. Many people overlooked the fact that he is a rabbit. Being a single mom My family consists of my rabbits, my cat and my son. I applied to over 30 organizations and financial assistance and you saw how much he meant to my little family. I will forever be in debt that Onyx can live happy, healthy and live out his days in our home. Thank you thank you thank you. ❤️"⁠

"He had surgery Monday, November 14th and is now home recovering. He tore his CCL in the knee (like an ACL in people) and this can only be repaired in dogs with orthopedic surgery. The doctor reports that the surgery went very well, and Jasper should make a full recovery. Thank you for helping make this happen for him! Jasper and his owner Tauna can't thank you enough! "⁠
